This furniture was designed with the idea of using solid wood as the only material.
The wall we had available allowed us to insert a fairly high wardrobe with two doors and to have a hanging bookcase climb along the entire length of the wall to create a frame.
Within this solid wood frame we have inserted a sideboard with doors always built using various essences of solid wood.
The woods used for this furniture are: oak, canaletto walnut, maple and elm, all left in their natural shades.
An important detail are the uprights of the hanging bookcase: these too have been built using only solid wood, in this case we have chosen Italian walnut to create a chromatic contrast with the rest of the structure. It looks like iron but is actually pure wood.
Contemporary houses’ living rooms are the multifunctional space par excellence: a little kitchen, a little dining room, a little TV area, a little living room. In open spaces these barriers permanently decay, and then there is a need to design furniture with many different functions and solutions.
In this section we offer a gallery of some interiors made by us: in each there are different ideas and ideas to exploit.
The project of this sofa, which started from a customer’s design, has evolved over time to include 2 container modules with flap doors and a chaise-longue on wheels that can become a giant pouf.
The sofa structure is made of recycled wood, while the upholstery is made by Alessia Bianco (Abiuno), in the style of old mattresses with hand-sewn profiles. In front of the sofa, to complete the furnishing of the room, one of our equipped walls and a niche transformed into a bookcase.
In this living room our intervention is intertwined with the masonry elements of the environment: the TV cabinet rests on two walls, entirely hand-built using recycled wood of various types. The high shelves unfold by resting on cut partitions.
The masonry columns of the entrance are served as uprights for shelves in iron sheet and recycled wood.
Color is the protagonist of this living room: the sage green walls have allowed us to create interesting chromatic games and contrasts using different types of reclaimed wood. We used fir wood boards from construction sites, pieces of old furniture and parts of old window frames.
Reclaimed wood lends itself well to experimentation: its characteristic is the original colored or natural colored patinas that we fix and make stable through a long restoration process.
If what you like is industrial style combined with craftsmanship, this example of a living room is for you.
This project focuses on the use of box modules with different functions and shapes joined by shelf rails in iron rod, an informal and well camouflaged solution.
Recycled wood combined with iron gives the environment that industrial taste with a touch of color and originality. Each wood was chosen with the clients to arrive at areas of color in line with the rest of the environment and their taste.
The made-to-measure allows us to fully exploit the space available, also making imagination and ingenuity fly, for original but functional solutions.
A reinforced concrete pillar stands in the middle of the living room. One solution is to build a counter around it, with containers below the level of the top, covered with the same oak as the parquet. All the rest is pure white.
Three elements capable of creating a particular alchemy together: the industrial cold and the warmth of wood. An environment entirely covered in gray resin, a bookcase in iron and wood, a counter in recycled fir, and a “Tulle” lamp.
The same elements, declined on white, become quite different in this bright open space , where a few interventions are enough to furnish: the bolted frame of the fireplace and the reclaimed wood stained white for furniture and shelves.
