Stalagmite table was born from the idea of creating a wooden sculpture, to which associate a glass top that gave it the functionality of a table and allowed it to be catapulted into an apartment or a studio.
The ambiguity between expressive freedom and domestic functionality is the basis of all our research, and projects us from our artisan carpentry in the hybrid field of Art-design.
The table consists of an ultra-transparent crystal top, resting on a sculptural wooden base.
The legs are obtained by adding pieces of different wood species with irregular shapes and are welded together by a series of transverse and oblique bands.
The dry materialization of a 3D design: a few simple geometric lines made of solid oak. The crystal top is supported by two identical irregular pyramids.
The softness of wooden species is highlighted by the transparency of the top. The two pyramids can be arranged according to one’s own taste: mirroring each other, or obliquely, intertwining and superimposing the lines of the design. This table has only a possible length: 200 cm or 220 cm.
In case you are interested in a project for a 3D table, we have prepared a small album of proposals, which you can request by leaving us an email. Each idea can serve as an inspiration, be modified and adapted to personal needs. Once all the required changes are made, a final project is reached, accompanied by an estimate of costs and construction times . Project and budget are free and without obligation.
An option for an industrial but elegant dining table with a crystal top is creating a base and structure in raw iron. The Cucaracha table exists in two versions, but it is customizable in many ways: shape and material of the top, iron color.
The oval glass table is a more manageable option than the classic round table. The slim legs slender the whole structure and the transparency of the crystal enhances the weaves.
